Privacy Policy for BatchRename Studio

Effective date: May 31, 2026

BatchRename Studio is a local Windows desktop application for renaming files in bulk. It does not require an account and does not intentionally collect, store, transmit, or sell personal information.

What the app accesses

BatchRename Studio accesses only the folders and files that the user explicitly selects. The app reads file names in order to generate previews and perform rename operations.

What the app stores locally

BatchRename Studio may store certain app data locally on the user's device, such as saved presets and undo history, to support app functionality. This information is stored only on the local device and is not transmitted to our servers.

No cloud upload

BatchRename Studio does not upload files, file names, presets, or rename history to our servers. The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics, telemetry, background syncing, or account-based cloud features.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for reviewing rename previews before applying changes. While BatchRename Studio includes preview-first safety and undo support, users should confirm that planned rename operations are correct before renaming important or sensitive files.

Changes to this policy

If BatchRename Studio later adds online services, analytics, crash reporting, sign-in systems, or cloud-based features, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
